Oh geez… kids these days… they are ADORABLE!!! Meet this tiny litte beauty! She is just an absolute ball of joy, and a non-stop moving one at that. I just couldn’t get enough of her little smile, her giggles, this cute little skirt, that sunglasses wearing cat or the headband. Although, there were wardrobe malfunctions with the headband and then trying to put it back on a moving one year old was tough. In any case, happy Friday and I hope you enjoy this little doll.

You may remember the fabulous Stephanie and Jody whose wedding we shot in spring 2009. Well, here’s the new love of their lives. SOOOOOOOOOO DARN CUTE!!! He’s got the best little laugh ever. Just wanted to share him with you.
Well it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in the Best household. The tree is up (although this fresh cut tree does not smell like a tree anymore… do not get me started on how irritating that is), the decorations are on, the sparkles are out and the stockings are hung.
I just wanted to let you know that this week we will be working reduced holiday hours so we may not be as available by email or phone. We of course are finishing up holiday orders still this week and those waiting for your albums to come, don’t panic - we will of course contact you as soon as they arrive.
As of this Saturday, December 18th the office will officially be closed until early January. We will be out of the office in January so expect to hear back from us sometime in the New year, most likely mid January.
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone. Enjoy eating yourselves silly and drinking yourselves merry.
On saturday night we found out their was a new member of the Best family and yesterday we just had to stop by and see for ourselves. Presenting the cutest little Kitty (she doesn’t have a name yet, its still up for debate). She is just super adorable and majorly cuddly. We all got great cuddles but I especially loved my cuddle with her draped over my shoulder and snuggled up into my neck - so cute! Just wanted to share this amazing amount of cuteness on this dreary Monday morning! Enjoy!

So sometimes, just sometimes, the weather in Vancouver DOESN’T quite cooperate. This was one of those times. We were only able to shoot this wonderful family together at one specific time and it was absolutely pouring right at that one time and seemed to stop afterwards - ugh!. BUT, they were soooooo awesome! Who needs sunshine when you’ve got a covered porch, lots of fun umbrellas, connect four and cupcakes and ONE TRULY AMAZING FAMILY FULL OF LOVE AND LAUGHS. These kids were sooooooooo good! I dare say the best kids we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. Enjoy because they are seriously cute!
So yesterday I got an awesome surprise when one of my best friends popped by with her twin boys. She and her boys totally made my day. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!! I just have to a share a few from their impromptu photo session. ENJOY THE CUTENESS and THE LONG WEEKEND!!!

The weather has been so great this last week and I sometimes have to pinch myself when I get to work with such wonderful people in such wonderful places. This family was no exception. We planned to meet at Whitecliffe park where the girls often played as kids. It was such a wonderful night and this is such a sweet family. And of course Pepo the dog keeps everyone entertained :) Enjoy!!! And stay tuned… there will be more of this family to come in the coming months… just you wait.
Well, it feels like forever ago, but just a few weeks ago on a BEAUTIFUL halloween afternoon I got to hang out with the Wong Family at Granville Island. I got the call (or I should say email) for this session to celebrate little Landon’s 1st Birthday - how exciting!!! Poor little Landon had to be woken up from his nap for this shoot so it took a little while for him to wake up and have a good time. But when he did, it was magic. This is such a wonderful family, so full of love and laughter. I had a wonderful time with you Wong Family, thank you for having me along to play and have fun. Enjoy your images.

If I wasn’t there myself I might not have believed that this was an October morning - but it was and a grrrrrrrrrrrreat one at that. You may remember this adorable little family and cute little Micah from earlier in the year at Micah’s baby session. What a great way to celebrate an anniversary - with a beautiful sunny morning in the park with all your family :) Especially when it’s a morning full of “love, joy and laugther” and giant leaves and monster hunting.
