LOCKING FAMILY - Vancouver Family Portrait Photographer

I’m happy to say that one of my great friends, her husband and their band of beautiful girls have moved back to North Van after living in the land of Calgary.  I don’t have many words today, other than I’m glad they’re here, they’re all beautiful and I feel so lucky to be able to watch such a great family.  Seriously, these girls are all absolutely gorgeous.

The Palsenbarg Family - North Vancouver Portrait Photographer

A beautiful family, 3 generations, gorgeous summer sun, the ocean, the colours - this was a great shoot! One of the things I love so much and that makes me keep doing what I’m doing is to see the wonderful realationships and connections people have.  I think great portraits are so important to ensure that you will always have the memories as well as wonderful photos of and with the people who are truly special to you.  The Palsenbarg family are absolutely wonderful and I can tell very close and special to each other.  It was such a pleasure to just be able to capture photos of them all together enjoying each other’s company and the amazing summer night.  Thanks for such an awesome night guys and enjoy these few highlights.

Vivian & Samson are married!!! - Vancouver Wedding Photographer

I’ve been looking forward to Vivian and Samson’s wedding ever since I met Vivian.  When Vivian met with me she was extremely organized and practically had her whole wedding already planned.  It sounded amazing, the light cream, champagne and pink colours, peonies, tea ceremonies, 4 dresses and two people very much in love - all the things I love about my job.  This wedding was amazing, and a marathon 12 hours but we had such a blast.  Here are just a FEW of my favourite shots.  Thank you Viv and Samson for having us along and treating us so well.  I hope you enjoy.

L-O-V-E the detail on Viv’s dress

One of her special chinese dresses, this one to be worn at the tea ceremonies and some getting ready time

I always have so much fun during the games where the groom has to prove his worthiness

Samson wanted to make sure his singing was heard (more to come on the amazing assistant who helped capture some amazing second angles)

I love this shot of Viv at the morning tea ceremony - so happy and gorgeous

Time to go get hitched

The light where Vivan got ready at the church was beautiful

I love how happy Vivian’s Dad is and that they’re both looking at Samson

And I L-O-V-E how Samson is looking at Viv while she comes down the aisle *sigh*

MARRIED!!!

Picture taking requires energy!

Nisha & Sarj Engaged

Stunning, Stunning, Stunning, Stunning, Stunning… I could go on and on about Nisha - she is Gorgeous (and Sarj is a pretty sweet guy too ;-P )!  I was lucky enough to celebrate part of last week’s Canada Day with Nisha & Sarj in Coal Harbour to do their engagement session.  We had a blast and I’m so glad the day turned out so wonderful considering we had already had to reschedule twice due to weather. But in the end it was TOTALLY worth it.  These two are absolutely wonderful together and so cute and natural.  Thanks you guys, I can’t wait to work on your engagement album.  I hope you enjoy just a few of my favourites.
