*** OUT OF OFFICE ***

Hi Everyone, just to let you all know that my husband and I will be away on vacation until Next Wednesday, Dec the 3rd - we’re off to MAUI !!!! YEAH!!!! :)  I won’t be checking email or voicemail while I’m gone so I’d appreciate your patience until I get back.  Thanks and have a great week :)

Here’s a little pic from the last time I was out of office on my way to New Orleans - the view from the plane while flying into Salt Lake City - So Pretty.

Published - Congrats to Heike & Rich

More Congratulations are in order the wonderful Heike and Rich - their amazing May wedding has been featured in the fall/winter issue of Real Weddings.  You can find the magazine on newsstands now as well as at your favourite wedding vendors and Bridal Shows.  Clients who come in for their consultations can also get a copy.  Again, Congrats to the happy couple who look beautiful in the pages of the magazine.

WALL-E

There aren’t very many movies that I actually decide to go out and buy, in fact our personal movie collection is rather pathetic.  This helped by the fact that my brother and sister have a movie collection that rivals Blockbuster and so there generally is no need to go and get one.  However, in the case of the cutest little robot ever, I have it in my hot little hands and I SOOOOOOOOO can’t wait to watch it tonight.  I loved it the first time (and yes, I admit, I cried near the end :P).  For anyone who hasn’t seen it - you must - It’s definitely one of my favourites!  All I keep saying is “Waaalllleeee - EEeevvveee” :)

Jack and Amelia are 3!

Actually, Jack and Amelia turned 3 a month ago and have been extremely patient with Auntie Jenn who has been a tad slow on getting their photos done :) Thanks for your patience guys! And so… on to a few fave photos and the slideshow because I know that’s what the kids REALLY want to see.

Time to open PRESENTS!!!

Check out this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G cake that Auntie Dora Made - and it tasted soooooooooooooo GOOD!!!

I think if she got any closer to blowing out that candle she would either eat it or light her hair on fire - so cute!

I love these last two once they were all partied out.

The Dirom Family

I’ve been lucky enough to have known the Dirom family for a few years now and you may remember my first photo sessions with them from a few years back. We took photos before and after little Heather was born and so I haven’t seen her since she was a wee baby. Well Sunday we got together so I could meet the newest little Dirom - Sweet Sweet Julie. It was sooooooooo great seeing these kids and how much they’ve grown. I always have a great time hanging out with my clients but this session was REALLY REALLY fun - We played at home for a bit and then headed out to the park for one energy filled good time. Stay tuned for their slideshow but for now, here is a sneak peek of the family.

Here she is, happily rolling around with that gorgeous smile - Little Julie May!!!

Here is the darling Heather - so grown up!

And here is older sister Katrina - love the laugh!

And here he is, oldest brother Scott - check out those blue eyes.

Isn’t Julie just the sweetest little thing - oh, how I could eat her ;)

THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!

Happy Birthday to Me!

It’s my birthday today - Y-E-A-H!!! Let the celebrating begin!!! I found this photo from my first birthday that I thought I’d share.  I really liked cake then too - altough with a cool cake like that who wouldn’t be excited.  I guess I was into elephants?!  I wonder If I could convince my mother to bake me a cake like that this year - hmmmmm.  Anyway, Hope it’s a great day for everyone.  Now to the cake…

A NEW BLOG - YEAH!!!

Well, here she is - My brand new blog and I hope you like it!!! Now you’ll be able to see the pictures even BIGGER (which I’m super excited about). Don’t worry, we haven’t lost the old blog forever. You will notice that all the old posts are attached to my new blog so feel free to scroll down, look through the archives or search through the categories to find your favourite posts. I have lots of new things, great news and upcoming shoots to share soon but I thought I’d start off this new blog with a little cake :) Here’s one of my favourite pictures from Amelia and Jack’s third birthday party a little while ago. I just LOVE how much Amelia is concentrating on blowing out those candles - so darling! I’ll have their full post soon but for now, let’s blow out some candles and celebrate. YEAH!!!

The Yap Family

On Sunday morning I had a wonderful, wonderful time hanging out with Lucia, Albert and little Jayden. We planned to have a pretty casual session and I have to say this one was fun - lots of laughs. I love finding things that belong to each family and use them in the session and Lucia and Albert had a beautiful soft blue bench that I fell in love with and made for great photos with all of Jayden’s colourful toys. Thanks for a great morning guys!

This image CRACKS me up; there’s a funny story involved. We were all doing A LOT of things to get Jayden to laugh and we were getting nothing from him. He didn’t seem too impressed with me or any of us for that matter. I looked at him and asked him where his smiles went and all of a sudden he flashed this smile at us all so fast we barely saw it before he returned to his serious face. We all cracked up and then I laughed even harder when I realized I caught it. I’ve never seen a kid do this and it was the FUNNIEST thing.

Oh, and Jayden really likes looking at pictures of himself ;)
