CONGRATULATIONS NEDA & SEAN!!!

Saturday was another wonderful, amazing day to get married in Vancouver and it was a day that belonged to the fabulous Neda and Sean. I’ve known Neda for a few years now and feel so honoured to have been there for her special day. I really really do love my job and especially when the wedding is as amazing as theirs was. These two are beyond photogenic and the emotion and love that exists between the two of them, as well as between all their families is really beautiful. The Terminal City Club is always a chic place to get married and once again it was a perfect. We had a great time walking around Downtown Vancouver and Coal Harbour as well as our scenic drive through Stanely Park - admidst all the grads in their bright dresses. I cannot say enough about how fun this wedding was so I just want to share a few of my favs and let the slideshow do the talking. Neda and Sean - CONGRATULATIONS - and thank you to you both and your wonderful families for being so great. ENJOY!!!

Rezvana & JP are Getting Married!!!

Sunday was another great day to be outside and I feel super lucky that I got to spend it hanging out with Rezvana and JP. These two are super great people and not only fun to play poker with but amazing to take photos of. Rezvana is of course gorgeous but seriously has to consider a career in modeling because she worked the camera like a pro - I barely had to direct her at all - and JP can work it too. We had a great shoot planned with the breathtaking views in Lions Bay and then of course the Fire Hall where JP is a firefighter. The firehall was so much fun and I have to do a whole other post from all the cool pics I got of JP in his fire fighting gear. I am super looking forward to their wedding this July because these two are so much fun and are so in love. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention bear who came along for a few shots. At first I thought he was a different dog because he’s changed so much since his last photo shoot - he’s definately a big part of the family. There are soooooo many great shots from this shoot so here are just a few of my favs as well as the slideshow. ENJOY REZVANA & JP!!!

CONGRATULATIONS Heike & Rich

Friday was one unbelievable day! The sun was shining, the sky was bright bright blue and it was beautifully warm. It was more than absolutely gorgeous weather and was so perfect for the day Heike and Rich had planned. Heike and Rich had lots of family and friends fly in from around the world to share in their special day and it was so great to show off Vancouver with great sunny skies, Cecile Green was the perfect backdrop. Heike was absolutely stunning and radiant and looked breathtaking in her gown! These two are so special and it was so wonderful to see the love between them. Heike and Rich, I had a wonderful time with you both and am so honoured to have been a part of your day. Enjoy your sneek peak slideshow!

Graham is 5 years old!

Well, I can’t believe it. My nephew Graham turned 5 this past Saturday. It seems like just yesterday we we’re all waiting up for him to be born and were woken up in the middle of the night to go to the hospital and meet him. Now he’s all grown up and ready for kindergarten! Wow, time flies! There was a great party for him and CLICK HERE TO SEE THE SLIDESHOW of the festivities and kiddies.

These Gems are some of my absolute kid favs! I think this was when Graham was just over a year old, taken at summer camp. AWWWWWWW, what a model!!!

Oh, and for all you photogs out there, these black&whites were taken on good ol’fashion film. Of course it was C41 film which was the coolest thing to me while working in a photo lab. Ahhh, the days of film… now it’s the days of digital and instant satisfaction - loving it!

Portraits and Headshots

Lately I have had renewed interest in personal portraits and headshots from clients and since I have yet to add this wonderful section to my website I thought I’d re-post a couple of my favourite sessions as reminders. It’s a great time to show off your personality and I always feel like I really get to connect with my clients during these types of sessions. I just want to share and encourage those who may be graduating, wanting to update their headshots or just capture themselves and their personalities to give me a call and I’m sure we can come up with a wonderful session for you. Also, this is proof that I do headshots and portraits, just not as often as weddings and families ;) - but I love you all so please, give me a call.
